Brenna Busse, Erika Mock and Bill Weaver celebrate the coming of spring with a show/sale of NEW WORK! Using the Greek Goddess Persephone's mythic journey to the underworld as a metaphor, the three artists entered the dark months of winter with intention to deepen their understanding of creative process.

Brenna creates archetypal figures using mixed media; clay, fiber, paint found objects. Erika weaves, knits, stitches various fibers to tell her stories of spirit and color. Bill is a photographer; patiently observing and recording the soul of nature, and the nature of people. His photographs in the show will also document Erika and Brenna creating their art.

PERSEPHONE'S VOICE is an ongoing project devoted to reawakening our culture to the value of art.
